digital architecture_circulation model
This model was formed from sitting at the Old Market Square and observing pedestrian activity. The black strings represent the most popular routes taken buy the
general site population. The white strings represent individual pedestrian routes of people i observed transition across the whole site. The results tally with the previous circulation mapping, however the overall feeling of the model is far different from circulation drawings. The interaction between the white and black routes reveal how dynamic the site is. The layers of complexity and behaviour of the people using the site seem to come alive.
